Built originally as stables serving Lowndes House and still retaining original stall walls and hay racks the space had been unsympathetically sub-divided and original features concealed to form an uninviting office space. Having negotiated a lease with the Grosvenor Estate GRA architecture & interiors’ first project was to set about creating a bright open plan office comprising four work stations, meeting area, print area, separate wc and kitchen. The original layout comprised 340 sq.ft. of useable office whereas completed it now provides 480 sq.ft. of light open and workable space with purpose made desktops and shelving constructed of shuttering ply, sealed and lacquered. An example of how GRA architecture & interiors can maximise the potential of a property.
